Hey there friends! I’m so glad you stopped by! I have pieced together a unit study with several different free resources that I have found on the internet…yes, you heard that correctly…FREE!
I used this unit study with my children who range in age from 1 to 11 and we had so much fun learning about the brain! One of the great things about unit studies…you can teach all of your children at the same time. I have a lot of children , so I use them quite often. You can add in certain things to personalize learning styles or add more age appropriate activities. You can make it your own and just do what works for you! You may choose to do all of it, or just pick and choose things that are a good fit for you and your family.
Now, go and have some learning fun!
** I do not take credit for any of the links or resources listed below. I have scoured the internet to find resources created by other people who have so graciously shared their ideas and then I compiled them into a unit study that I created for personal use with my own children.**

We also did a sheep brain dissection. You can find these for relatively cheap on Amazon. Yeah, it was kind of gross, but really educational! If you don’t want to buy a kit or have a squeamish tummy, you can find sheep brain dissection videos on YouTube.
